Clueless on Caesar Salad

So, I’m taking a recipe writing class, and the first thing the chef gives us for homework is to make and create a caesar salad recipe. Yikes!

I’ve enjoyed many a caesar salad at a restaurant. I have never even thought about attempting to make caesar salad at home. I looked at this caesar salad recipe offered by AllRecipes, but I don’t know. SeemsĀ like something I could easily mess up, even with directions, so I’ve stayed with the comfortable house salad here on the homefront. Until now.

How about you? Can you make an awesome caesar salad? If so, please send tips! I do not want to get an F on my first homework assignment! How hard is it to make caesar salad, anyway? Anyone?

I’m curious whether folks are pro or anti-anchovy on the Caesar salad. I am for.

Hmmm. I’m averse to anchovies on top of my Caesar salad, but I am definitely going to use Anchovy paste in the dressing I make.
